I'm actually surprised that I am not pissed off by what I found stuck on the wall of the space where I always park my car.
I have been using that space for almost 2 years now, and I can still remember the day it was shown to me by the officer in charge of parking lots. It was, wow! very conveniently located, easy to park , spacious, and only a few steps away from the lift.
But today, 10 minutes before 8.00 am, a bright yellow bill was stuck on the wall with someone else's name and car registration number on it.. WTF?? so i just drove on and parked my car outside the building.
Luckily, someone punched the card for me.. :))
Then I went straight to the EO and told him what happened. Guess what.. it was he who got pissed off!! Apparently, there was this guy.. Dr Is*uni who has been calling our division claiming that my car is parked on one of their division's lots. Although explanation was done, he could not take it. And then last week, some Dr Gha*ali sent a memo to us, telling the same story, attached with a proof, which was a letter issued by Khidmat Pengurusan about who owns which lots.. dated somewhere in 2005. The reason our EO was mad is, he has already told them that the 2005 letter is out dated. There's a new one we received in 2006 which he has already quoted and explained.. but mm not well digested by the honourable doctors.
Actually there is another story behind this tale.. It is true that the lot that i am using is legally under their division. It happened back in 2005 or so I was told.. That parking was actually allocated for their big boss. But the big boss didn't like the location because the nearest lift would be the one leading to the back door.. and i supposed he prefered entering the office using the front door, hence, he asked to swap parking space with one of our lots. Till now, their big boss is using our parking lot. Isn't it logical that we should be given a lot in exchange for the lot used by their big boss?? But no, they did not want to listen to us, and decided to discreetly put up the bright yellow bill.. Why did I say discreet? Because it was not there last Fiday when I last parked my car in that space. That means he must have done it over the weekend.. when no one's watching.. urgh..gross.. how childish can one be?
Why am I not Pissed Off? I am leaving this place for good, soon. So i couldn't care less.. but It is definitely unfair for our division to lose a lot just like that.. so, i hope the EO can settle this as soon as possible. .. Hopefully, we don't see people punching each other over a parking space.
However, I have only one question for Dr Is*uni and Dr Gha*ali
Why did you let me park there for 2 years before you realised it is actually yours??????
