Because I have read more than what the average Malaysian read in a year.
So far I've finished reading 4 books and am in the middle of reading 4 or 5... ( and it's only July, mind you.. *grin*)
and I am going to add a new one to the list.. Of course.. the boy wizard book! But I will patiently wait until the commotion is over and will slowly read it at my own pace.
Meanwhile, I will try to finish this first..
I like this book and there are several chapters that I could relate to my own Malaysian stories.But I'd better finish reading it first before writing a review on it.

"as i was passing" was the first english book i read...well, adult english book anyway. i absolutely loved it! my copy was so "loved", it was dog-eared, koyak everywhere and i lost the cover with the guitar.
yeah, Rehman Rashid has a tendency to use big words, it gets tiring sometimes. having said that, he was the final push that sent me head first into journalism. i thought if one marine biology (or something) grad can do it, another can follow suit.

i remember reading one that had the same title only written by sri delima instead of adibah amin ( which turned out to be the same person actually)..
macam tak caya je it was written in way back then kan..
anyway, it didn't really surprise me when u went into journalism.. maybe u could write books after this.. amacam? got the guts to publish ur blog into printed material? hehehe...i certainly don't ...
dont we delusional people all think there is a book in all of us? hehehheh...but for now i'll stick to reading other people's work.
somehow, the only person i know who was surprised that i went into journalism was me...talk about being clueless...heheheh...
